Asquith Homes are applying for planning permission to develop the now dated parade of shops on Dale Street in Ossett.
The scheme incorporates a two storey extension to the existing flat roof to provide 14 low cost rental apartments-the type of property which is in short supply in the area.

The appearance of the existing building is to be brought up to date whilst still complimenting the Town Hall and the rebuilt Co-operative opposite. Regeneration is long overdue for the parade and the project is effectively a public scheme but with private funding.
Due to commence 2009.
